YouNewX Studio ("YouNewX Studio", "we", "us") is a service that lets creators create and publish short-form video content to their own social accounts, starting with TikTok. This policy explains what we collect from you, why, and how you stay in control of it.
YouNewX Studio is operated as part of the YouNewX group of products. You can reach us any time at hello@younewx.com with questions, requests, or concerns about your data.
We do not collect data about anyone else's TikTok account, and we do not collect data about people who later view, like, or comment on the videos you publish.
YouNewX Studio requests the minimum TikTok API scopes needed to publish your video to your own profile. We hold no Display API scope, and the app never reads, lists, or shows your existing TikTok posts back to you or anyone else.
Lets us show you your own display name and avatar inside the app, so you can confirm which TikTok account you're about to publish to before you hit post.
Lets us transfer the video file you uploaded to YouNewX Studio over to TikTok's servers, under your own account.
Lets us publish that video to your own TikTok profile, using the privacy level, comment, duet, and stitch settings you chose in the app.
You can disconnect your TikTok account from inside YouNewX Studio at any time using the Disconnect button in your dashboard — this revokes the stored access token at TikTok and removes it from our systems immediately. You can also revoke access directly from TikTok: open the TikTok app and go to Settings → Security → Apps and websites.
To delete your YouNewX Studio account and all associated data (email, connected TikTok tokens, and any stored videos), email hello@younewx.com from your account's email address. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.
We never sell or rent your personal data. We use the following subprocessors solely to run the service:
Our use of information received from TikTok APIs adheres to the TikTok Developer Terms of Service.
We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
YouNewX Studio is intended for creators aged 18 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@younewx.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where required, notify you by email.
